The Best Hands in Poker

Poker

Whenever a hand of poker is played, the player holding the best hand wins the pot. There are many types of poker and each one has its own set of rules and regulations. These rules vary from player to player. But the following are common in most poker games:

The best possible poker hand is a “trip” of 7s or 8s. This means that the highest card dealt from the pack is a trip. The best possible straight is a straight of threes and sixes.

The pot is the sum of all the bets made by all players during one deal. The pot plays if at least two or more players call the opening bet. Often a player can fold before he has to show his cards, but he must show them if he wants to win.

A Royal Straight Flush is a hand made up of 5 cards of the same suit. This is only possible with 5 cards of the same sequential value. Moreover, you need to have two wild cards, which are cards that can be used to supplement any other card.

A low straight flush is a hand made up of ace and king. This is achieved by hitting the right cards on the turn and river. Alternatively, you can get this same flush by hitting a single ace on the turn and two deuces on the river.

The best hand in poker is a Royal Straight Flush. It is formed of five cards of the same rank, or sequential value, and two wild cards.
