When playing poker, it is very important to remember to play in a respectful way. You should avoid making fun of yourself or others. If you make a mistake, don’t point it out to your opponent. This is against poker etiquette. Also, you should not talk while playing. This will distract your opponent and give away information.
As the hand progresses, players begin to bet more, building bigger pots. However, there are fixed-limit games with predetermined amounts. These games also have a betting limit. If you want to bet more than the limit, you must raise or fold the hand.
